Team & roles
A merchant account has one or more owners plus any number of additional users assigned to limited-permission roles. This page covers the role model and how to manage who's on your team.

The single most important thing to send for this page: the full role × permission matrix. What roles exist, and what can each one see/do? Once I have that, this page becomes concrete instead of generic.

Replace the table above with the real roles. Add a per-role permission detail section if there's nuance.
Manage your team
- Open Settings → Team.
- The list shows every user on the account, their role, and their last activity.
- Click a user to see their detail; from there you can change their role or remove them.
Change a user's role
- Open the user's detail.
- Pick the new role from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
The change takes effect immediately — the user's permissions update on their next page load.
Remove a user
- Open the user's detail.
- Click Remove.
- Confirm.
The removed user can no longer sign in to this account. Their historical activity remains in the audit trail.
Owner removal
You can't remove the last owner of an account. Promote another user to owner first.
Confirm
- Is there an audit trail for role changes / removals?
- Can a user belong to multiple merchant accounts? If yes, removing them from one doesn't affect the others — document this.
